Fittings fastened to a door and to a main furniture body swivel in relation to each other, and one at least is adjustably mounted on a fixed base plate, in a hinge on furniture. The fittings (14, 16) are able to swivel from an extended closure position, at virtually 180 degrees, into an opening position where they face outwards. They may have a tumbler locking device in the closure position. They can be interconnected via two guiderods (60,62), each of which has ends mounted so as to swivel on one of them via axial pins (56,58 & 64,66). This permits satisfactory door hanging, where a door, in the closed position, abuts onto an adjoining surface.
