The T-section sliding joint comprises a male portion with a T-section rib fixed to the jaw, engaging in a mating groove in a female portion fixed to a dental prosthesis. The male portion comprises a T-section core (11, 12) of plastic leaving no residue when burnt, and a casing (14) of metal fitted round the core. The female portion is a profiled component (21) containing the groove (26) and of the same plastic material, and lined with metal (25).
