<p>The heat exchanger has a flue gas tube (14) connected via a ventilator to the flue. A controller operates a blocking device located in a flue gas line connecting directly with the flue. The controller is sensitive to ventilator failure. The flue gas tube register includes a nest of straight, parallel flue gas tubes (14) that are connected via removable angled or deflecting pieces (15) only to an appropriately sized hole. A second ventilator may be provided for forced ventilation of the nest of flue gas tubes. This second ventilator is driven by the same motor as the ventilator connecting the flue gas tubes and flue.</p> |
