The parent patent described a process for the manufacture of combustible cartridges and of propellant charge containers for ammunition from fibre pulps. It has now been found that these articles can be produced with different wall thicknesses by feeding to the mould mandrel pulps of different solids-to-water concentration. To produce, for example, double the wall thickness at certain areas, the solids concentration of 600 g per 100 litres of water is raised to 1200 g.
