<p>The locking mechanism is for the oven door of a stove with pyrolytic self-cleaning equipment, having a bar expansion detector reacting to oven temp., also a lock plate on the door engaging in an opening in the oven frame so as to hold closed via a lever an oven-heating current control switch. A bolt secures the plate in the locked position. The lever mechanism comprises a door lever (10) and a door switch lever (11) hinging together. The switch lever has a catch arm (11'), with which a snap-over lever (13) engages below the locking temperature. A tension spring (16) engages with the snap-over lever and also with a three-armed locking lever (18), the latter forming a catch for a bolt-release lever (28). On release from this lever it bears against the catch arm (11') of the door switch lever and also against the door bolt (7). A compression spring (21) and a heated wire (25) act in opposition on the bolt-release lever.</p> |
