PURPOSE:To prepare the titled composition capable of forming a thin film having extremely high impact strength by extrusion molding, etc., by compounding an ethylene polymer with a specific ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The titled resin composition having a melt index of 0.01-5.0 and a density of 0.88-0.94 is prepared by mixing (A) 10-80pts.wt. of an ethylene. alpha-olefin copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity of 2.0-10dl/g in decaline at 135 deg.C and a density of <0.91 and obtained by the copolymerization of ethylene and a 3- 12C alpha-olefin in vapor phase essentially free of solvent in the presence of a catalyst consisting of a solid substance containing magnesium, titanium and vanadium and an organic aluminum compound and (B) 20-90pts.wt. of an ethylene polymer having an intrinsic viscosity of <=1.7dl/g measured in decaline at 135 deg.C and a density of >=0.95. |
