PURPOSE:To make the whole copying machine compact by simplifying an exposure optical system by changing optical paths by selectively switching the lighting of two original lighting devices for nonmagnification and variable magnification. CONSTITUTION:In nonmagnification copying, only the 1st original lighting device 6 is turned on to form on photoreceptor 19 a light image from original O corresponding to the 1st position through the 1st reflex mirror 15 and image-forming lens 17 arranged at an interval of optical path length required for the nonmagnification copying. In variable magnification copying, only the 2nd original lighting device 7 is turned on while the 1st reflex mirror 15 is put off the optical-axis optical path, and image-forming lens 17 is moved to the chain-line position in the figure corresponding to a variable magnification ratio. Through the 2nd reflex mirror 20 and image- forming lens 17 arranged at an interval of optical path length required for the variable magnification copying, a light image from original O corresponding to the 2nd position is formed on photoreceptor 19. |
