摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a superior dichromatic copy by forming the upper 2nd layer of two photoconductive layers different from each other in sensitivity to chromatic light with a eutectic complex whose pyrylium dye content is lowered from the substrate side to the surface and a low molecular photoconductor. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd photoconductive layer 14 having sensitivity to red light and transmitting other light is formed on the 1st photoconductive layer 12 having sensitivity to the transmitted light, i.e., light except red light. Layer 14 contains the eutectic complex of pyrylium dye shown by the black dots and an electrically insulating polymer such as polycarbonate and a low molecular photoconductor as principal components. The dye content of layer 14 is higher and lower in the vicinity of substrate 11 and the surface, respectively, and the photoconductor content is higher in the vicinity of the surface. Thus, electrophotographic receptor 1 with high sensitivity is obtd., and a fine red-black-white dichromatic image is given by a single imagewise exposure with receptor 1.
