ARC 552 TITLE: OCULAR THERAPEUTIC SYSTEM A drug-containing ocular insert that is sized and shaped specifically for placement and retention in the superior fornix above (cephalic to) the superior tarsal plate is disclosed. The insert is in the form of a crescent shaped body that has rounded ends and a concave edge whose radius of curvature approximates the radius of curvature of the superior border of the superior tarsal plate.
