PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of printing in color at low cost which consists of a transfer ribbon part laminated in plural plies with colored thermosetting resin layers, electrode, etc. CONSTITUTION:A transfer ribbon 4 consisting of a plural number of overlapped elements obtained by forming a colored thermosetting resin layer 13 on a conductor film 2 is partially heated by a thermosensitive head part to melt a part 11. In the meantime, an electric current is caused to run through a power supply 6 to the conductor film 2 with the help of a switch 5 so that an electric field may be applied between a back electrode 8 and the film 2 and a melting part 12 below be transferred to a recording material 7 on the back electrode 8. |
