PURPOSE:To obtain the multicolor recording device whereby multicolor printing can be performed with ease by using a stationary thermal head array and further by adding thereto a temperature control device. CONSTITUTION:The stationary thermal printing head array is used for thermal recording paper being developed in multicolor. That is, an element to be employed is selected from the train of thermal recording elements arranged in numbers on the thermal recording paper, heated for a controlled time and later made to touch the thermal recording paper, whereby multicolor recording is performed. Moreover, selection and heating of the given thermal recording element are conducted by converting analog signals in plural kinds to be recorded in each of analog/digital converters 51 and 53 and further inputting the same in a thermal recording element controlling device 1 through the intermediary of decoder devices 71 and 72 for a signal-source signal, a register 3 for input, a delaying device 62, decoder devices 81 and 82 for a delay signal, etc. |
