PURPOSE:To obtain the electrostatic recording device which allows easy cleaning of the scanning surface of the electrostatic recording head by providing a cleaning member moving in parallel to the surface. CONSTITUTION:A latent image is formed on an image forming member 2 which moves by using the electrostatic recording head 4, developed by using a toner, and transferred on ordinary paper and the like, whereby electrostatic recording is conducted. On the occasion, the scanning surface 4 of the head is cleaned by moving a moving member 12, guide members 13 and 13' and a cleaning member 11 which move in parallel to the surface 4. It happens sometimes that the formation of an image can not be fully performed since a minute quantity of remaining toner stickes to the scanning surface 4, and this can be cleaned with ease by the above constitution. |
