PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent magnet wire without using a solvent by a method wherein a conductor is coated with straight chain-shaped polyester group resin, the resin is made gel and the conductor is further coated with thermoplastic polyamide resin. CONSTITUTION:Substantially straight line-shaped polyester group resin (for example, polyethylene terephthalate resin), principal ingredients thereof are ester unions consisting of acid components, main components thereof are aromatic compounds or dicarboxylic acid, one section thereof is substituted for the aliphatic series, and diol components, principal ingredients thereof are aliphatic diol, is melted or extruded on a conductor (for example, a copper wire), and the conductor is coated. The conductor is heated at the melting point of the resin or higher in an oxygen atmosphere, and the resin is bridged until a gel molar fraction of the resin exceeds 20wt% or higher. The outside of the resin is coated with thermoplastic polyamide resin (for example, 6,6-nylon resin), and a magnet wire is obtained. |
