PURPOSE:To increase a picture quality by erasing entire black part other than the picture, by changing the scanning direction of a plurality of solidstate scanning elements scanning one scanning line ane excluding unnecessary picture element data other than the original. CONSTITUTION:Solidstate elements at the end of a scanning area 2 are main- scanned from the end as shown in D1 and D2. In this case, the gate of video element data is closed at the black part other than the original, and the gate is opened when white level at the end of the original is detected. Further, the obtained picture element data is rearranged to constitute one scanning signal. |
