PURPOSE:To make possible accurate recording by separating the beam generated from one light source into a recording beam and a reproducing beam with one deflector included in an optical system, and entering both beams to a stopping-down objective lens. CONSTITUTION:The beam generated from a light source 1 is applied to a modulator 21 included in a light modulating and deriving means 2. The beam generated from this means 2 is applied via a pinhole 3 to a deflector 41 included in an optical system 4. The deflector 41 has a function of separating the beam to a reproducing beam 4a and a recording beam 4b, and the separated beams 4a, 4b irradiate the surface of an optical disc 5 by leaving a fixed spacing l through a magnifying lens 42, a beam splitter 43, a 1/4 wavelength plate 44 and an objective lens 45. Thereby, the information signal carried by the recording beam 4b is accurately recorded on the track to be recorded of the disc 5. |
