摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate basy compression of a two-dimensional picture and a real picture information and processings of editing, by discriminating the main scanning line and the sub-scanning line from each other simply by addresses to clarify the correspondence between the memory address of the two-dimensional picture information and the position, in the real picture. CONSTITUTION:Information of the first picture element (A) on the first scanning line is stored in address 0 of the memory, and picture information on the same scanning line are stored, and information of the first picture element (B) on the second scanning line. The address is divided into two, and upper 12 bits are used as sub- scanning address SSA, and lower 12 bits are used as main scanning address MSA. In this case, positions of 4,096 picture elements on respective main scanning lines and positions of 4,096 scanning lines are displayed by main scanning address 12 bits and sub-scanning address 12 bits. As a result, the correspondence between memory addresses of two-dimensional picture information and positions in the real picture is clarified to facilitate compression of picture information and the processing of editing.
