PURPOSE:To accurately measure the running mean value of moisture content by shortening an operating period just before the end of drying and increasing measuring frequency, by providing a timer determining the operating period of moisture meter. CONSTITUTION:The moisture meter A is connected to the arithmetic circuit C through the A-D converter B and the output is connected to the comparator circuit E connected with the indicator D and targeted value setting circuit F. The output of the circuit E is connected to the control circuit G incorporating the timer which determines the operating period of the meter A. A judgement as to whether the moisture meter is in process of measurement or not is made in the circuit G and in case when the meter A is in outputting state of the data voltage, said voltage is converted into the moisture content of digital value and then said value is compared with the targeted moisture content in the circuit E. As a result, when the moisture content of grain is high in the former period of drying, the timer of the circuit G is set for comparatively long intervals (e.g. 10min) and when the moisture content is low in the later period, the timer is set for short intervals (e.g. 4min). |
