PURPOSE:To facilitate receiving of start-stop synhcronizing data for an arbitrary transmission speed, by shifting the value set in the register to set 1/2 and using this value as the initial value of the binary down counter when the leading edge of the start bit of start-stop synchronizing the data is detected by the multiplexer. CONSTITUTION:A value equal to the one-bit transmission time of transmission data is stored in register 20 by signals 21-1-21-4, and this stored value is inputted to multiplexer 30 by signals 22-1-22-4. When the leading edge of the start bit of start-stop synchronizing data is detected by multiplexer 30, the value set in register 20 is shifted to set 1/2, and this value is stored as the initial value of binary down counter 40. When this value becomes 0 in the count-down operation, the value set in register 20 is used as the initial value of counter 40; and this operation is repeated, and start-stop data is sampled and stored in shift register 50. As a result, receiving of start-stop synchronizing data for an arbitrary transmission speed is facilitated. |
