PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance at the junction of metal plates, by sealing with synthetic resin, etc. at the gap of the junction where the plates are butted to each other and the passages thereof are provided. CONSTITUTION:The gap 12 of the junction, where metallic plates 1 and 1a are butted and passages are provided, is sealed with the filler 7 such as a thermosetting resin. The method to fill the filler 7 is as follows: first, the filler 7 is injected in the pressure tank from the manhole 3 and the air is introduced into the tank 2 opening the air valve 11: next, the filler 7 in the tank 2 is injected and held in the heat collector 14, applying pressure to it by the compressor 8. During this process, the metallic plates 1 and 1a are expanded and the filler 7 is stuffed into the gap 12. Then, the air pressure is restored to normal by opening the air plate valve 13, and after the most filler 7 in the collector 14 is discharged, the filler 7 stuffed into the gap 12 is heated and hardened by the hot air to fix to the gap 12 as the filler 7a. |
