PURPOSE:To transfer the section of the line fault and error contents to the center station or the monitor station, by transmitting the test code between stations and by collating this test code with the collation code, in the line monitor device of the carrier multiple communication device. CONSTITUTION:The test code of station A is modulated and is transmitted to station B as the signal of one channel which is not used for communication. In station B, the test code is reproduced and is collated with the code from collation coder 17. If the error is detected, error contents are stored and are read by control circuit 19; and after the station code is added, they are returned to station A and are displayed in station A. Next, the test code is transmitted from station B to station C in monitoring of the line from station B to station C; and if the error is detected in station C, the station code is added to error contents, and they are transmitted to station B. In station B, error information returned from station C is stored after code collation and is read by control circuit 19 and is transmitted to station A, and error information of station C is displayed in station A. |
