PURPOSE:To secure and simplify the switching operation of optical fibers, by composing two plugs of seven cylindrical bodies arranged closely. CONSTITUTION:A light signal emitted from one movable optical fiber 31 is supplied to two fixed optical fibers 32 and 33 by switching. At the part constituting the guide hole of the optical fibers, six cylinders 34 are arranged closely around one cylinder and into triangular gaps formed at positions dividing the external circumference of the center cylinder by six, said optical fibers are inserted. The cylinder group is inserte into guide cylinder 36 and axis matching sperical bodies are provided to determined the circumferential positions of both the plugs. To switch the optical fibers, one plug 35 is turned by 60 deg.. |
