PURPOSE:To equip a drum properly with an equipping drum shaft with a tapered top by providing a drum support to side plates in front of and behind a copying machine body and by setting the drum center line shifted slightly from the center line of the front and rear side plates. CONSTITUTION:Drum supports 7 and 8 are provided by being united with or separated from front and rear side plates 5 and 6 of the copying machine body. On those drum supports 7 and 8, flange parts 2 and 3 at side ends of photoreceptor drum 1 are mounted. Photoreceptor drum 1 consists of electrostatic drum part 1a, flange parts 2 and 3, driving gear 4, center holes 2a and 3a of flanges 2 and 3, etc., center holes 2a and 3a, i.e. center line A of the drum 1 is shifted slightly from center line B of bearing holes 5a and 6a of front and rear side plates 5 and 6 before the equipment. Then, the drum is equipped by a shaft having a tapered top and a sleeve at its root part. |
