<p>The method of controlling the flow in and out of the cylinder of a pump, motor or engine, has a housing (7) on top of the cylinder, containing an outer tube (1) and an inner tube (2). The outer tube is rotated about its axis, and the inner tube discharges through an opening formed by radial channel (5) into the outer tube. This is connected by an opening (6) in its wall to a channel (10) communicating with the chamber (9) above the piston (8). The outer tube is rotated by a gear wheel at one end, connected to a drive. The outer tube has openings at the other end connected to a discharge hole at the top, and the inner tube is connected at its outer end to a discharge opening at that end of the housing, on the axis of the tube. Between the entry opening (6) into the inner tube and the cylinder is a sealing ring (16) carrying a further sealing ring (17) around its outside.</p> |
