PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature, lightweight and low-cost fixing device, by putting a composite, which heats up by chemical reaction, in a hollow fixation roller and then by making it to generate heat. CONSTITUTION:Inside of mandrel 5 of fixation roller 1, composite 3 generating heat by chemical reaction is arranged as a heating source. As this composite, a mixture of 20pts. ion powder, 20pts. powdery active carbon containing 50wt% water, and 10pts. pulverized sodium thiosulfate is used. To accelerate the rise in temperature of this composite, stirring blade 9 is favorably provided. |
