A METHOD OF PRODUCING GAS FROM SOLID FUEL

The method and apparatus for gas manufacture from solid fuels is described. Fuel gas is manufactured from solid fuels (e.g., coal) by gasification in a reactor by the addition of such gasification agents as air and/or steam. Part of the fuel is gasified in a fluidized state, and part is handled in a stationary manner.
