The rifle firing trainer has a projector (A) in the barrel with a lamp (10) an optical system (16) and batteries (14). There is also a metal bush (13) of the barrel calibre in the breech, closing an electrical contact with trigger action. The projector and bush are in one part and there is a connection between them of wire or strip (22), fixed to the lamp and held against the bush. The bush has a moving, conducting plug (26).
