<p>Photometric apparatus and method for determining the absorbance ratio, in a sample (20), of two different wavelength lights (10, 12). A first light (10) is given a reference intensity and is passed through the sample (20). A second light (12) is passed through the sample (20) and its intensity is varied so that the intensity of the second light (12) that has passed through the sample (20) is equal to the intensity of the first light (10) that has passed through the sample (20). When these intensities are equal, the intensity of the second light (12) is detected in a state wherein it has not passed through the sample (20), resulting in an equivalent to the atio of the absorbance in the sample (20) of the second light (12) and the first light (10). </p> |
