The appts. is designed to optimise heat energy generation from all kinds of solid fuels and/or by combustion of waste products. The material in question is rotated at least partially during combustion in a chamber. The required or desired movement may be manually-or machine-initiated and may be accompanied by derivable movements such as advancing-, return-, intermittent-, shaking-, etc. motion as necessary. The stirring effect of rotation may be utilised as desired to accelerate separation, fragmentation and/or deposition of combustion residues during the process. The material may have non-combustible 'agitator bodies' added to the fuel bed.
