PURPOSE:To enable moisture to be speedily and accurately measured, by a method wherein the rod vibrator portion to uniform powder and particles and the moisture content detector portion are provided so as to be freely inserted by fluid reciprocating apparatuses. CONSTITUTION:The measuring bin 1 of a batcher plant is mounted with a frame 5, on which a rod vibrator 9 and the moisture content detecting portion 8 are reciprocatably supported by inserting arms 14 and 17 of fluid reciprocating apparatuses 6 and 7. In said constitution, after the measurement of raw material 3 for a batch has been completed, vibrating portions 18 are inserted and vibrated by vibrator motor 16 in order to vibrate and stir the raw material so that the attached moisture distribution is uniformed. Thereafter, the vibrating portions 18 are drawn in and the moisture content detecting portion 8 is inserted to measure the moisture content. Thereby, it is possible to prevent appearance of the measuring errors due to the contact failure between the raw material and the detecting portion 8 and the nonuniform moisture distribution, and moisture can be measured accurately and speedily. |
