The cubicle comprises a shower basin fitted into a base containing the various installation elements (21...26) and supporting the sidewalls enclosing the basin to form the cubicle sides. The installation elements (21...26) are mounted on a horizontal carrier (18) so that they fit below the basin and which can be slid out from the base for maintenance etc. Pref. the sides of the horizontal carrier (18) fit between two spaced guide rails (19,20). A perpendicular front plate (26) is pref. mounted at the front end of the horizontal carrier (18) and supports the switches (40,42) and display dials (41) for operation of the shower. A hot water tank (21) with a boiler (33) is pref. attached to the carrier (18) the former comprising at least two communicating horizontal cylinders (27,28) running parallel to one another.
