7-(N alpha -substituted or non-substituted-X- arginyl)-amino-4- methyl-courmarin wherein X is the residue of an amino acid selected from the group of glycine, phenylalanine and proline and the acid salts thereof were prepared and found to be useful as fluorogenic substrates for determining enzymatic activities. |
