<p>A device for monitoring the temp. of rotating parts, e.g. the rotors (13) of electromotors, has a rotary coupling inductively transferring the signal from a rotating temp. sensor (15) to a stationary coupling (21). Induction coil coupling elements are used with an evaluating circuit. The elements of the stationary part of the monitoring device are contained in a very compact economical unit and coaxial cables are not used. The evaluation circuit is connected directly to the stationary coupling coil (21) to form a temp. limit warning unit (17). The temp. limit warning unit (17) emits low frequency switching pulses for following circuits. The evaluation circuit is an integrated circuit consisting of one or more integrated components. A high frequency oscillator contg. the stationary coil produces a signal which is demodulated by a threshold switch, pref. a Schmitt Trigger.</p> |
