The generator has a pulse width modulator connected to the output of a medium-frequency clock generator. A main flow path contains an on/off switch, an input filter, a rectifier and filter, an input current measurement device, a power switch, a power transfer device, a rectifier, a peak current limiter and filter, an output current measuring device and an output filter. A protection circuit is connected to the on/off switch and contains a Schmitt trigger, a diode and a filter. An auxiliary power supply is coupled to the rectifier and filter and contains specified components.
