<p>PURPOSE:To make unnecessary a detection rod and a correction circuit and to increase the operativity, by the construction that the two dimensional coordinate of the depressed position is detected with two detectors when either one of two resistance plates is depressed. CONSTITUTION:Selector switches S3-S6 are connected to the contact (b), and power supply V1 is connected between the electrodes A, B of the resistance plate 1 and the detector 5 is between electrodes C, D of the resistance plate 1'. In this case, since the resistance plate 1 is the voltage drive plate and the plate 1' is the electrode plate, the detector 5 can detect the coordinate toward X. Next, the switches S3-S6 are connected to (a), and the detector 4 is connected between the electrodes A and B and the power supply V2 is between the electrodes C and D. In this case, the detector 4 can detect the coordinate toward Y. By alternately switching the switching the switches S3-S6 and pressing the plate out of the plates 1, 1' with a finger or a rod, the coordinate signals X, Y are respectively obtained on the detectors 5 and 4.
