PURPOSE:To make possible the test operation of transfer while the clamping and unclamping devices of feed bars are kept driven and the press is kept stopped by making the cam provided to a slide part freely movable upward and downward. CONSTITUTION:At the time of making test operation of only the transfer, a freely engageable and disengageable clutch provided to the revolving shaft of the press is disengaged and a magnetic clutch 4 is engaged. When a motor 5 is started, feed bars 1, 1 are advanced and returned by way of planetary gear mechanisms, and a cylinder 20 is operated to move a cam 19 upward and downward, so that feed bars perform clamping and unclamping motion by way of a lever 21, a rack 23, a pinion 25, a crank 26, connecting rod 27, a moving body 28 and a rack 29 and the rack 29 and the moving body 28. The timing for the clamping and unclamping, that is, the operation of the cylinder 2 is accomplished by the signal from a rotary cam limit switch revolving synchronously with a gear 8. |
