PURPOSE:To perform welding with precision efficiently in a short time by providing a mechanism of holding a torch movably at the joint part between a main tube and a branch tube so that it can move along the joint part. CONSTITUTION:Flux 40 is scattered on base tube 10, branch tube 11 is mounted and base 12 is placed on it. Running roller 37 is brought into contact with the surface of guide 38 and torch 29 is adjusted to a desired position with handle 32 and adjust screw 33. In this state, running roller 37 is weighted with torch slider 27 and wire supplying mechanism 35. Through the drive of rotary motor 15, shaft 16 rotate around shaft 13 through reduction device 14. According to this rotation, torch 29 is oriented toward the joint part between base tube 10 and branch tube 11 at any time and build-up welding is done along the joint part from the outside to the circumferential edge. Consequently, base tube 10 and branch tube 11 can be melt stuck accurately and automatically by submerged arc welding. |
