PURPOSE:To provide a thermosensitized recording material equipped with a thermosensitized color development layer containing styrene resin powder and specific compound and having an excellent head-matching property and providing a high- concentration vivid-colored recording image. CONSTITUTION:1pt.wt. of a colorless or pale color developing material 1 such as crystal violet, etc., a color-developing substance such as alpha-naphthol, etc., 0.5- 10.1pts.wt. of styrene resin micropowder of numerical average grain diameter of 0.1-10mu having an average molecular weight of more than 10,000 and more than 25wt% of styrene content and 0.1-5.0pts.wt. of compound under the formula (R1, R2 represent alkyl ranging C10-C30) are dispersed in a bonding agent such as gelatin, polyacrylic acid, etc. The preparation thus obtained is applied on a support. With the use of this recording material, a vivid-colored recording image free from blur, ink run, image line cut and uneven line width can be obtained. |
