PURPOSE:To arrange so that the inclination of a record pattern may not change when the moving direction of a recorded object is reversed, by changing the scanning direction of a charged signal is response to the relative moving direction of a recorded object. CONSTITUTION:When recording starts with a front end, a column counter 16 counts up in accordance with the moving direction of a recorded boject. While a line counter counts up every time one line is scanned. When recording starts with a back end, the both counters 16, 17 count down and a dot signal Qd indicating the existence of an electric charge is output from a character generator 19 which inputs the count-down output. Following this process, the dot signal which is output, combined with an output from the counter 16 showing a scan array, is input to a digital/analog converter 23. An output QA from the said converter is applied to a charged electrode 4 through the intermediary of an amplifier 9 and an ink particle is deflected by means of a deflection electrode in accordance with a signal from the charged electrode. The ink particle reaches a recorded object through the above process. |
