PURPOSE:To interlock a pneumatic carrying equipment with an automatic machine to attain consistent automation, by using a handling device to automatically put a conveyed piece into and out of a pneumatic carrier. CONSTITUTION:To take out an inner container 30, a stock table 12 is turned by a motor 15. A plurality of pneumatic carriers are stocked on the table 12 and provided with addresses. When a desired pneumatic carrier has come right under a chuck, a chuck holder 6 is moved down by a motor 11 and the claws 18 of the chuck are opened. When a position setting small member 6a has come to the position of a detector 37b, the motor 11 is stopped to halt the chuck holder 6. When a rotary solenoid 17 is deenergized, the claws 18 of the chuck are closed to grab the outer cylinder 25 of the pneumatic carrier. After that, a bottom cup 24 and the outer cylinder 25 are disconnected from each other. When the motor 11 is actuated for lifting to the position of a detector 37a, the claws 18 are moved up as the outer cylinder 25 remains grabbed by the claws 18. Since the bottom cup 24 is left on the table 12, the inner container 30 can be taken out. |
