NEW MATERIAL:An N-acylamino acid derivative shown by the formula I (R<1> is 2-10C alkyl; R<2> is amino acid residue; with the proviso that the cast where R<1> is isohexyl is omitted). EXAMPLE:N-( Trans-4-isobutylcyclohexanecarbonyl )glycine. USE:Drugs, e.g., antiallergic agent, antiulcer, antimicrobial agent, a drug for thrombosis, and a surface active agent. Having improved antiallergic action by peroral or local administration. Having low toxicity, low stimulation to the skin or mucosa, useful as a detergent for application of people with weak skin or with allergic constitution. PROCESS:A compound shown by the formula II is treated with a halogenating agent (e.g., phosphorus oxychloride, etc.), to give an acid halide shown by the formula III, which is then reacted with an amino acid in an inert solvent in the presence of an alkali, to give a compound shown by the formula I. |
