The invention provides a speed change apparatus which can give steplessly variable output rotation speed by causing displacement of a driven rotation member to alter frictional engagement positions on a plurality of driving rotation members kept in such frictional transmission engagement with the driven rotation member. Smooth and reliable driving power transmission is guaranteed in this manner.
