The flooring material consists of a single-layer or multi-layer needled fleece (1) of UV-stabilised crimped polypropylene fibres which, for reinforcement thereof, contains a lattice-type structure (3) which is stitched in and may consist of polyester. This reinforced fleece is looped on one of its two surfaces and has a burl-type profiled latex layer (2) on its non-looped surface. Because the flooring material has a profiled latex layer underneath, water seeping through the material can run off freely. <IMAGE>
