Method for continuous manufacture of containers from a long and stiff plastic strip. The strip is notched lengthwise with grooves and is then folded over inwards about these grooves, and a flat, hose-like strip is formed when the free edges are joined together, and cut to required lengths. The sections are then opened and given the required cross-section, and a stiff closure cap is applied to at least one end.
