A salt of vincamine and apovincamine is obtained by means of reacting vincamine or apovincamine in the form of a solution or suspension with the acid corresponding to the desired salt. The salts are of the formula I in which R1, R2 and X are as defined in claim 1. The salts have interesting therapeutic properties at the cardiovascular level and on the circulation system in general. <IMAGE>
