PURPOSE:To improve operation efficiency by making it possible to feed a seam as high-speed operation is carried on, by providing respective intermediate driving shafts, an elastic roll, steel roll and bottom roll, with gears, electromagnetic clutches, universal coupling, etc. CONSTITUTION:When an original base roll finishes unrolling and its end is connected to a new original base roll to form seam (a), hydraulic cylinder 7 lifts and separates respective rollers 4, 5 and 6, couples them with gears 15, 16 and 17 via electromagnetic clutches 18, 19 and 20, and press-contacts touch roll 24 against cleaning roll 10 at the same time, and base 2 having seam (a) is fed among respective rolls at a high speed and in safety. As seat (a) comes close to point (B) at the take-up slide, hydraulic cylinder 7, electromagnetic clutches 18, 19 and 20, and air cylinder 25 are reset to the original state and respective rolls while press-contacting each other return to the normal operation states. |
