PURPOSE:To interrupt an output to a television when a PCM audio signal tape is in reproduction, by controlling a gate means by discriminating whether reproduced output information is a video signal or PCM audio signal. CONSTITUTION:When a video tape is reproduced by video tape reproducer 2, its reproduced signal is supplied to PCM audio signal reproducer 1. Then, detecting circuit 6 discriminates the signal video one and gate circuit 7 is opened. Therefore, the video signal is supplied to television 3 via gate circuit 7. On the other hand, a tape on which a PCM audio signal is reproduced and the signal is supplied to reproducer 1, where it is passed through detecting circuit 6 to output the audio signal from output terminal 1b. At this time, gate circuit 7 is closed, so that the output to television 3 can be interrupted. |
