PURPOSE:To make the constitution of a relay tester simple by combining a relay tester having a transformr with taps and auxiliary relays for selecting taps and a tester including a comparator and a stepping circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the relay TR2 to be inspected is selected, contacts R2' R21' R22 are closed and the voltage corresponding to the load of the relay TR2 is set by a setting circuit 54, so that a stepping circuit 52 is stepped by way of a comparator CM. Then, auxiliary relays AY-NY are operated successively, and when the voltage exceeds the voltage of a reference voltage generating circuit 53 connected to the comparator CM, the stepping operation is stopped and the contacts nx close, whereby the voltage corresponding to the tap of a transformer T is obtained. Hence, the output from an output terminal TR2 corresponds to the set voltage corresponding to the load of the relay to be inspected, and this enables a relay tester 11 to be simplified and its reliability to be improved. |
