PURPOSE:To enable to exhaust air easily through hollow grooves by the white line parts at the vacuum contacting, prevent the formation of air pockets and improve vacuum efficiency by forming raised parts with respect to the nonwhite-line parts of a white line screen for gravure. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion surface of a white line screen B for gravure having suitable screen line ratios is closely contacted with the photosensitive agent layer 12 surface of a lithographic type film on a transparent base sheet 11 and is exposed (the 1st exposure), whereby exposed parts 13 and unexposed parts 14 are formed. Thence, this is developed (the 1st development) with a lithographic type developing soln. and is washed, after which it is bleached with, for example, CuCl2 and H2O2, and is washed, whereby the gelatin of the exposed parts 13 which are white line parts is removed together with blackened silver. Thence, it is reversal exposed (the 2nd exposure) and is developed (the 2nd development) with the lothographic type developing soln. until the image blackes thoroughly. Thereby, white line parts 3 and the nonwhite-line parts 2 which are raised and are opaque with respect to said parts are formed on the base sheet 11, whereby a white line screen A for gravure is produced. |
