PURPOSE:To surely measure the moisture of cereal matter by providing a cereal feeder in the upper part of the gnawing surfaces between a pair of metallic rolls, flowing down sample of cereal grains, piece by piece, and measuring the moisture of the cereal grains as well as by providing a wind screening device to the preprocess of the cereal feeder. CONSTITUTION:A pair of metallic rolls 20, 21 are respectively opposedly installed to crush or press each piece of cereal grains flowing down into the roll gnawing surfaces (A), and the device is so constituted that the electric resistance value of the cereal matter thereof is measured and is displayed in a displaying meter 22. The moisture measuring device is mounted to the wall part of the cereal tank 23 of a cereal dryer 13 or the like, and the sample take-out port 24 opened in the cereal tank 23 and the cereal feeding port 2 in the upper part of a machine frame 1 are connected by a cereal conveying path 25. These make is possible to measure the moisture value of the cereal matter surely by sampling unhulled rice grains from the unhulled rice layer flowing in the cereal tank, wind-screening the same and pressing or crushing only the rectified flow thereof, piece by piece. |
