PURPOSE:To ensure an application of a transmission circuit having a large delay of transmission to a data communication system, by discontinuing the receiving action of the station which transmits a message for the going and coming-back data transmission time from the time point of the end of transmission. CONSTITUTION:The master station 17 and the slave station 18 discontinue the receiving action for the going and coming-back transmission time 19 after a transmission of message. The station 17 transmits the answer urge ENQ21 after a transmission of the information message since no answer is given from the station 18 even after a fixed time. The station 18 transmits the acknowledgement ACK22, but this acknowledgement is not processed at the station 17 since the station 17 discontinues the receiving action. Thus the station 17 transmits the answer urge ENQ23 again, and the station 18 receives this ENQ23 to transmit the acknowledgement ACK24 again. Receiving the ACK24, the station 17 transmits the next information message 25. After this, a normal exchange is ensured for the message. |
